We read every message. It helps to include your phone's model, its iOS or Android version and the station's name.
A station won't play.
Stations are run by their broadcasters, and some go off air for a while. Sadaa marks a station “Off air” when its stream doesn't answer. Try again later, or pick another station. If one stays down for days, email us; we check every station before each release.
Why is there no surah name for some stations?
Only MP3Quran's reciter channels send the name of the surah being recited. National broadcasters don't, so Sadaa shows their local time instead.
Can you add a station?
Email us the station's name and website. We check each one by hand: the stream must work, it must be Quran recitation rather than talk, and it must be a real broadcaster in the place it names.
Does Sadaa work without internet?
Sadaa streams live radio, so it needs a connection to play. The first launch also needs one to find stations.
How do I change the language or the numerals?
In Settings, under Appearance: Language switches between English, العربية and اردو, and Numerals lets you use Western digits in any language.
What does “End of this surah” do?
On a reciter channel, the sleep timer can stop playback when the current surah finishes. It isn't available for live broadcasts, which don't say which surah is playing.
